KAREL RES (Wind Energy System)

  • Award: Winner of the IZ-KA Project First Prize.
  • Operational Start: August 2012.
  • Installed Capacity: 1 MW.
  • Production: 2,500,000 kWh annually, meeting the electricity needs of 895 people per year.
  • Environmental Impact: KAREL RES, located in Aliağa, İzmir, reduces CO₂ emissions by 1,107.5 tons annually.

Energy Source Contribution: 30% of the energy we use comes from wind power.

KAREL GES (Solar Energy System)

  • Operational Start: 2022.
  • Installed Capacity: 1.6 MW/hour.
  • Contribution: Since commissioning our solar energy system in 2022, we have been proud to generate 10% of the energy used in our production processes from renewable sources.

 

Future Expansion: By 2025, we will complete the KAREL GES Field, a solar energy facility with an installed capacity of 5.5 MW/hour, marking a significant step forward in environmental sustainability.
