RAZOR WIRE

RAZOR WIRE

Razor Wire is one of the highest security measures available today. Compared to other types of wire, it offers significantly greater deterrence in terms of security. It is frequently used in military areas and for protecting restricted or hazardous zones. Razor Wire serves as a warning to those attempting to climb over fences surrounding restricted areas, as it can cause clothing tears and injuries ranging from minor to severe.

This type of wire not only cuts the body but can also cling to it, rendering the individual immobile. Any attempt to move increases the likelihood of further injury. Currently, Razor Wire is the only wire product with a 100% deterrent effect for security purposes.

Types of Razor Wire

There are two primary types:

  1. Spiral Razor Wire
  2. Razor Wire mounted around Oval Fences
How is Razor Wire Made?

The most commonly used type is Spiral Razor Wire. Flat Razor Wire is created in thin, straight layers and serves only as a basic barrier. However, for high-security needs, Spiral Razor Wire or Razor Wire mounted around Oval Fences is preferred.

In addition to high-security areas, Razor Wire is also used in private properties and agricultural fields. However, due to the significant harm it can cause, it is dangerous for animals and should be used with caution. Razor Wire is made from thin, non-rusting, and extremely sharp materials. Because of its high level of danger, it instinctively deters individuals from attempting to cross it.

Additional Features
  • Razor Wire is coated with furnace paint, preventing fading.
