KARELTEL R&D CENTER

In 2016, we established our R&D Center, approved by the Ministry of Industry, marking a significant step towards developing innovative and efficient solutions in the iron and steel industry. Our center focuses on cost reduction, process improvement, and new product development projects. Alongside state-supported initiatives, we also undertake projects backed by TUBITAK and international funding, contributing to the advancement of the sector with cutting-edge research.

Achievements

In 2022 and 2023, our success in R&D was reflected in the rankings:
Ranked 8th among Turkey’s iron and steel R&D centers.
Advanced from 472nd to 413th in the general rankings.
